Groen Productions designs and builds websites among other things. It offers this site, the Site Management Tool, as a means to manage changeable information on one or more websites. Some of these websites may have a live version as well as a test version to try things out and/or to verify and test new functionality. These versions can also be connected to different databases.

What information is recorded and how we use it

We record your username and password in hashed form (meaning we can verify it, but never know what it is), in order to verify your identity so only those with explicit permission get access to the site. We record your email address, so we can communicate with you on access related information. We record your access rights, so we give you access to the right section(s) of the site. All this information we will keep as long as the account exists in the WordPress database.

Database with content for your website

Apart from the WordPress database, we have a separate database with separate access credentials where we keep the content of the website you manage through this site.

You are responsible for the content you submit. We have the right to remove any content that we deem in violation of the Terms of Use. See the Terms of Use for more detail. All data will be recorded and kept during the lifetime of the website, in both the live version as well as any test version of the database.

Cookies and retention periods

WordPress

The Site Management Tool is built on top of the WordPress framework. WordPress makes use of cookies in order to facilitate navigation and secure your user session. Without the use of cookies the site cannot be operated. Please refer to the WordPress cookie policy for more detail on how cookies are used and what their retention period is.

Groen Productions

It is possible that a managed website has a live version as well as a test version with separate content. In this case the site uses a cookie to record which version of the database you have been working on. This cookie is set for your convenience and can be deleted and/or rejected, after which the site will assume you will work on the test version every time you first open the site page for the managed website.

The cookie is set to expire in half a year from your latest use of the site page for the managed website.

Analytics

We record a timestamp and user identification of any changes made to the database used for content management into a log for any problem and usage analysis. We do not share this information with anybody.

We may analyse the traffic to the website through the data provided by our Internet Service Provider (ISP) GoDaddy.

General warning

Anybody with access to an internet server has the capability to aggregate usage data, including personally-identifying information. This includes and is not limited to our ISP, your ISP, and companies such as Google and Facebook.

Opt out

If you do not wish that any usage data be kept in your browser and/or by any ISP, we may provide you with the service to manage the content on your behalf. Please contact Groen Productions to get insight into the associated costs. In this case your account and all associated data will be deleted.

Advertisements and Third-party Media

Groen Productions does not use any third party to host online advertisements, trackers or other media. You should not see any advertisements on the pages of this site nor any trackers from parties such as Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn.

Who we share your data with

We do not share personally-identifying information with any third party. Only the content you provide for your own website will be shared, and only through your website.

What rights you have over your data

You have the right to request access to your data, correction and deletion. You can change most information, such as display language, first and last name yourself in the “(Edit) Profile” section within the Site Management Tool. When you need us to take action you can email your request to Privacy@GroenProductions.com. We will validate your request and follow up within four weeks.

When you have a complaint we take it serious and do our best to solve it. When you feel we are not respecting your rights, you can file a complaint at your national Data Protection Authority or the Dutch Authority: De Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

If you contact us

If you contact us, we may use your email address to contact you with a reply. We may also act on any information that you supply, as we see fit. Do not share any information in your communication that you do not want us to use.
